Ever wonder what it’d be like see grassroot showcases by Brooklynites?
Melt Fest is a North Brooklyn festival for working class bands. An idea spawned by Sophie Chernin of Madam West, Elevtrtrax founder Nadeem G. Salaam, and Jhaye James of Indie Bushwick.
Here’s the scoop: a day long festival that starts at Baby’s All Right and ends at Bed-stuy’s new venue C’mon Everybody.
Tickets are $10, gets you into both events, feature drink specials, and ahead of time you can watch short docs on the artists performing and the areas they inhabit in NYC. We’re humbled to make a big move for music that moves us, and appreciate our sponsors doNYC and Soundfly.
Good times ahead.
